I bought a used 2012 Lotus Evora S about six months ago and absolutely love how it drives, but I've noticed the clutch pedal feels significantly heavier than when I first got the car. It's not slipping or making weird noises, but my left leg actually gets tired in stop and go traffic now. I've read that the Evora has a fairly heavy clutch from the factory, but this seems excessive. I took it to a general performance shop and they said they couldn't find anything wrong but admitted they don't see many Lotuses. A guy from the Lotus owners group suggested I find a Professional Lotus Repair Workshop Dubai that specifically knows these Toyota based drivetrains and the cable operated clutch system. Has anyone else experienced a gradually stiffening clutch on their Evora? I'm trying to figure out if this is just the clutch wearing out and needing replacement soon, or if it could be something simpler like the clutch pedal bushings or the release bearing. Also curious what a clutch replacement costs on these cars because I've heard the engine has to come out. Really hoping it's not that. Any advice from long term Lotus owners would be massively appreciated. Thanks.
