So many people kept telling me to switch to Claude Code because it handles complex logic like a total pro. I finally started using it and the code quality is definitely there, but it makes my whole computer feel like it is running through mud. My fan is constantly spinning at max speed and trying to switch between windows takes forever now. I really dig the workflow and got used to how it functions, but I need something similar that does not kill my system performance like this.

It feels like every new developer tool these days assumes everyone is running a high-end workstation with unlimited RAM.
