Our hearts continue to grieve because of what is happening in Palestine. To add salt to the wound, the callous manipulation by media outlets to dehumanise the Palestinians is relentless. Make no mistake. What is happening right now is a genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. Whoever denies this or tries to justify the ruthless murder of over 6000 Palestinians will go down in history as being an enabler and supporter of this genocide. I'm very much looking forward to reconnecting with the wonderful Muslim community in Minnesota this weekend for the 18th Annual Minnesota Muslim Convention.
I have such a deep love for this community and am in awe of their dedication to Quran studies. I'm honored to be a part of this program and look forward to sharing some thoughts on the day. See you there insha Allah.
